     I am loving EME2040 so far! I like that in the classroom we have discussions and go through the portfolio items and assignment requirements. This makes things much easier and helps me to better understand how to work with the technology. There is not really anything that I dislike about the classroom experience. As a teacher, I think it is important to engage the students and have discussions and also to always make sure my instructions are clear and I leave room for questions to be asked. 

    OER can be used by any teacher for free and without having to ask for permission. They are extremely useful for creating lesson plans and gaining inspiration for things to do within the classroom. This website, https://ait.libguides.com/openeducation,  discusses what OER is and how to use it. The information discusses keeping the 5 R's in mind when utilizing OER. These are retain, revise, remix, reuse, and redistribute. I think this is good to think about when looking for OER online and applying them to the classroom. 

    I liked working on Assignment 4 Powerpoint for Information Dissemination. I liked making the Powerpoint but I did struggle with adding the animations. For some reason, it would come up as double and it was weird to figure out. Overall, I liked the way mine turned out and I think next time I will be more comfortable working with Powerpoint.

      Overall, I enjoy working with Diigo and I think it can be a great resource within classrooms. I like the way it is very collaborative and you can add comments and things of that nature. It is a great way to share all the individual ideas within a classroom. While it is a great resource, I also think it can be pretty confusing especially when thinking about using it with younger students, which is the grade level I am interested in teaching. For older students, however, I think it can be especially effective.     I did not have much experience with blogging before this, but I am finding it to be a fun thing to do. I think it is a good way to summarize, reflect, and organize thoughts. Through my blogging process, I have learned the value of sharing opinions and have deepened my understanding of the topics we discuss in class.     I really enjoyed working on the Web Design Project. I made sure to follow CRAP and keep this in mind when creating my website. I tried to make important text stand out in relation to other smaller, non-important text. I also made sure all of my headings matched one another and was straight. It was pretty difficult at times finding images to match with the text colors to make it look pretty but I think it worked out well. I can definitely use the skills I gained for the future. I think having a website is a good resource for teachers, students, and parents alike. My website     I do not use AI that often but I will use it sometimes for my school work. I usually use it for when I am confused about something or if I need an idea for a project. I wouldn't say I am motivated to use AI but I do find it to be a helpful resource at times.
